Wow... really?!

Ok so I just found out that someone (or possibly two people) may be kicked out of the summer program I'm currently enrolled in due to alcohol possession. It's so stupid since the mentors emphasized a bajillion times how there is a ZERO tolerance: you will be caught and you will be kicked out.

Call me old-fashioned, straight-edged, a goody-two-shoes or whatever, but I find that to be so freaking stupid. Really? Is this some kind of game because they are damn serious about the ZERO tolerance policy (it's freaking written all over the place... jeez..). No it's not cool to drink alcohol especially when you're told specifically not to (looks even less cool when you're being kicked out dumbbutt) and yes you will be caught: you're not exactly sly, calculating and logical when you're drunk (I'm not even just assuming that they were drunk: they definitely were. i.e.: they were heard with slurs and everything).

I realize it's 2 am right now... but still I just had to rant a bit (though this doesn't even begin to encompass my thought process and opinion on the matter).

So now I'm gonna sleep.
